Future Projects is an internationally recognized architecture firm based in New York that provides architectural design, interior design, planning and feasibility services. Founded by partners Julie Tran and Khoi Nguyen, Future Projects combines a conceptual and technical rigor to create work that is both socially engaging and finely crafted.
Julie Tran, AIA
Julie Tran is a registered architect and partner of Future Projects. Prior to practicing independently, she led projects in New York and Connecticut with a focus on ground-up new construction and energy efficient building. Her experience includes private and multi-family residences, commercial retail, and institutional projects. Julie earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma with a specialization in interior design.
Khoi Nguyen, RA
Khoi Nguyen is a registered architect, educator and partner of Future Projects. He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Prior to practicing independently, he completed projects in California, Connecticut, New York, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania. Khoi holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University where he received the Honor Award for Design Excellence, the Lucille Smyser Lowenfish Memorial Prize and the William Kinne Fellowship.
