This fit-out of a Bushwick loft brings the "proud and loud" energy of Omsom, an Asian food brand, from the screen and into their first dedicated office space. Inspired by their distinct identity and packaging, the design uses bold colors and simple yet expressive shapes as the primary tools to create a space that is uniquely Omsom.

As a part of the fit-out, we designed a custom dining table as an office centerpiece and an embodiment of their mission of inviting conversation around Asian-American identity and connecting people across cultures. Food is the driver of that connection and the table is the platform for it to take place. The wavy shape of the table creates an offset seating pattern so that people are always seated across from two others to encourage group conversation.

As a digital first company, the space needed to accommodate content creation in every corner of the office. Color blocked walls and two murals depicting supersized versions of Omsom's logo cover the conference rooms and become interesting and diverse backdrops for filming. Rolling carts are used as mobile cooking stations and flexible setups.
